When God called Pam to begin writing Bible Studies her answer was immediately, "But God I can't!" And, "Why me? There are a host of authors out there today offering wonderful and powerful Bible studies, so why would you want me to do that?" After wrestling with God, Pam surrendered to this call which has now become here life mission and passion which is obvious in each and every study. Having been a Bible Student under the influence and ministry of Kay Author for many years she has a heart for Inductive Bible Study. Pam has been involved with Women's Ministry and a Teacher of the Word for over 25 years so she understands the needs and the challenges of women that often come with Bible Study. She has never been satisfied to study the word herself, but is committed to teaching other women how to study and to equip them with Bible studies that are affordable, understandable and practical, meeting the needs of women today.

Jabbok Bible Studies are unique in that they are an all inclusive Inductive Bible Study. The Inductive Method of Study was introduced by Irwin Jensen and made popular by beloved Bible Teacher and Author, Kay Arthur through Precept Inductive Studies. Countless lives have been changed by the Inductive Study Method all over the world. The three basic principles for Inductive Study, as taught by Jensen are, Observation, Interpretation and Application. Without these three phases following in this order, Bible Study will not be as productive as it can be. Inductive Study is not just a fill in the blank method but rather it is a rewarding journey of observing the text in detail followed by rich word studies and much more yielding invaluable truths leaving any Bible Student with spiritual truths and a thirst for more.

Each Jabbok study is written with this method in mind. They range from Book Studies to a variety of topics and are increasing every year. Although each study will challenge you with word studies, it has it's own glossary conveniently located in the back of each study containing the word studies that are pertinent for that study. Each lesson is broken down into four days of study, which allows for plenty of time for today's woman who is constantly pulled in countless different directions.

These studies are refreshing because each day's lessons yields a wonderful truth and application for the diligent student. It not only leads you through using the inductive study methods, it also guides you to the principle and the benefit or application of that principle. You are never left wondering, never left hanging. Each study will not only challenge you it will also eliminate the frustration that often comes with Bible study. Jabbok studies are unique in that they guide you through studying God's Word without robbing you of the joy of discovery. You will never be the same after studying God's Word inductively! In an age flooded with Bible Studies, we must make the most of our time by deliving into God's Word using the most fruitful method available and this is it! We receive countless testimonies of how God has used these studies to birth a love for God's Word which has the power to save and transform lives.

To enhance these studies, each study has teaching sessions available which are highly recommended but not necessary for a fruitful Bible Study. These sessions are taught by the author of these studies, Pam Jenkins.
