Oh Precious Pam,

Don't you just love it when Jesus wakes you up early just so you can spend extra time with Him? I woke up at 3:00 a.m. with a headache. I got up and took some Excedrin before it turned into a full blown migraine. I sat in the recliner with a rag over my face for about 30 minutes. Then my precious Lord said,'"Get up my precious daughter, I want you to love on me so I can love on you." He took my headache away and gave me a heartache for Him! Oh, I love Him so much! He just gets sweeter & sweeter. During my quiet time, I ask Him to reveal His glory. When I raised my head, all I could see was a bright light shining through the blinds. I told Him "Thank You, for shining on me today." I went outside and took a picture with my phone. When I looked at the picture, I saw a reflection of the cross around the moon. I tried to send it to my computer but it will not send it. Maybe, it was meant just for me. Remind me, and I'll show it to you on my phone. It is awesome. He is AWESOME!

I go to the ladies prayer meeting every Thursday. There are only 6 or 7 women who come but I love it. About 2 wks ago I was thanking the Lord for you and our Wednesday night Bible study because I was so full from the night before, I was running over! One of the ladies prayed after me and said "Thank You Lord for sending Rhonda, letting her overflow so that she can splash on us." I was crying so hard my nose was dripping. I opened my eyes to get a tissue and there was a tissue in my lap. I looked up and said "Thank You Lord!" One of the ladies told me after wards that she laid it in my lap. He knows just what I need and when I need it! I thank God that He fills you so full that you splash on me! Do I need to wear my raincoat tonight? Splash on, Sista!

"When my husband moved out I did not know what I would do. I felt like my life had been torn apart into a million pieces and then to see our children cry for their daddy every night was heart wrenching. that's when God led me to a Bible Study at my Church. They were just starting a new study at the time called "At the Feet of Jesus". Through God's Word He has transformed, not my situation, but my life but transforming me! Although I am still raising three children on my on, I now know where my strength and source of hope is found; at the feet of Jesus. "As a small child I was abused by my second cousin repeatedly. My parents were both alcoholic's who fought violently and often. I was sent to live with my grandmother who ran a boarding house for men. She also was an alcoholic and drug addict. When I turned 12 years of age she began selling me to the men for money and work around the house. At sixteen I became pregnant, I lived with a man who physically and mentally abused me everyday for years. At 24 I was abducted, raped, beaten, stabbed, and left for dead. I have had two abortions. One from the rape, and one from the drugs, alcohol, and abuse that I was a part of for so long. I have attempted suicide several times without sucess. I never knew God, and I thought God never knew me until I came at Rock Springs Church a few years ago. It's there that I met Pam Jenkins, my Wednesday night bible teacher. I took my first class with her two years ago. It was called, "The Blessed Woman", A Womans Journey to the Sermon on the Mount. That class opened my eyes to so many things that I had never known before. Then I took my second class with Pam. That class was, "At the Feet of Jesus". WOW. this class was amazing. God really used Pam as a vehicle to reach us women and teach us what He wanted us to know. I learned so many things about myself and about Jesus. Now, I am in my third class with Pam, The Book of John. Again, God and Jesus Christ are using Pam as a wonderful vehicle to get THEIR message out to all of the women in this class. Every Wednesday night I hear women tell how they have discovered something in their study that just opened their heart and brought them closer to God. I know for myself, that it was God that saved my life so many times when I should have been dead! I also know that for all those years God did know me and he loved me, he was just patiently waiting on me to know him and to love him and to come and "sit at his feet" and listen and learn.

I had the privilege of going through 2 of the Bible studies Pam has written, "The Blessed Woman" and "At the Feet of Jesus". I learned so much from these studies that I will never forget. God uses Pam as a precious tool to lead ladies to the Lord. Each day as I would do my homework and study the scriptures there would be something that would sort of jump off the page at me. I couldn't wait from week to week to get to be at the Bible study because I knew that God was going to give Pam something that was meant just for me. He's a good God and I don't deserve all the blessings he gives me but I am forever grateful for each one. Through Pam's teachings God has taught me so many things and I have tried to pass along to other women what I have learned through these studies. I appreciate so much the daily devotions Pam sends through e-mail. It is absolutely amazing how some days when I would open the -mail to read the devotion it would exactly what I needed for whatever might have gone on in the day. I want to thank God for Pam and Debbie and what they do for Him through their ministry. I am so thankful that God allowed me to cross paths with these precious ladies because they have truly been a blessing to me.

Dear Precious Pam, You are one of the most Godly women I know. I was saved before you were even born but you are so much wiser than me. Every time you pray or speak I feel the presence of the Lord. I just finished The Blessed Woman study - It took me a little longer because some parts were difficult to hear and I had to redo some because I skipped over the reading instructions.  Thank you so much for this treasured gift...both the gift of the book and your consecration to that which God has called you to.  I don't know if you can be overwhelmed and encouraged at the same time, but that's how I feel.  The all-encompassing meaning and calling of the Sermon on the Mount is overwhelming.  However I am hopeful in knowing that the path is clearly mapped and has stood the test of time.  I am convinced that nothing less will lead to true life and fulfillment.  It has taken some knocks, but I am slowly learning that I need God every day in every area of life.  Even so, I am afraid that once I resume my career that I will drift back to my old way of thinking and living. I pray that God will strengthen my desire for His Kingdom and His Righteousness above everything else.
